The default now seems to be "last 12 hours", which means that unless I
go into "filter" every time I log on, I have to read messages here more
than twice a day or I will miss stuff.

The result is that threads die unless they are immediately responded to,
because people miss posts, I think.

Can the default please be changed to approximately 30 hours?
