I'm considering getting a new computer later this year, and I'm wondering what others think about the new 100 mhz bus motherboards coupled with the 300 to 400 mhz PII or K6-3D chips coming out in the next few quarters. Will the speed increases for chess programs be dramatic? Any one care to estimate how fast a 400 mhz PII or 350 mhz K6-3D running on a 100 mhz motherboard would be compared to the ssdf standard 200 mhz pentium mmx? Should we start drooling yet? :) Bela
