The idea is that if you have a good working transpositiontable with for example a search of 11 ply now which you store everywhere, then a few seconds later you get into a similar position with 9 ply, then you get a bunch of true hash hits. So you need to either handle that, not have true bounds, or simply also probe in qsearch!!
