Not necessarily true. I have played quite a lot of test games at fast
time controls (15/game and under) with Hiarcs 6 (engine), and it has
impressed me a lot, even against fast searchers like Fritz or Junior,
and also against MChess 7, Rebel 9, Crafty...
My current "Blitz WC 98" will show if this tendency will continue.

(OK, I agree it *might* be different on two independent machines. But I
only have these sometimes and then I prefer 40/120 games.)
