The latter via tests shown on Your pages. >New approach this time - holding Your deck tight or am I just have to be >patient…? You haven't looked deep enough. The page is there but the "link" is not active yet. It's not so difficult to figure it out.............. When the page is ready I will announce it also here. >PS. Funny thing - at my K6 my Reb9 thinks it's worth 2850 in rating so >after some months of pragmatic playing I think I'll go for Kasparov, >well or Anand, it doesn't matter…. At program start Rebel tries to figure out your machine. After that based on what is detected the algorithm honors this with an ELO rating for your Pc. It's wellknown that Rebel performs the best on the AMD processor due to the big Level-One-Cache. I think the code gets confused because of that. >PPS. Rebel9 runs fine under NT5 (beta) - as You might know?! Good news, Rebel9 runs also fine under Win98 (beta3) - Ed -
