The hash size setting is part of the personality settings (Menu "Games/Set Up Personality..." in the Game Room. Different personality settings, in addition to those many which are included, are posted then and when here, and at other computer chess places throughout the net. Currently there's a process of finding other stronger, or more successful settings for the CM8K than the default settings seem to be, at least at tournament time against other programs (some recent CM8K results have not been quite satisfying).
