This is the mate in 9. I looked first 8 moves by brute force to be sure that no mate existe in lower level. Only for 9 moves I used selective search. Probably even by brute force it will be not that long to solve for 9. Branching factor for this position was quit mild. >00:38 WM9 09 Ngxe7+ Qgxe7 Nxe7+ Qxe7 Qxe6+ Qff7 Qxf7+ Qxf7 Qbxd8+ Nxd8 Qxd8+ >Qxd8 Qxd8+ Be8 Qdxe8+ Qxe8 Qxe8# > >Hope you didn't eat too many eggs yesterday ... :) No. >Dobriy ... errrmm, what's afternoon in Russian? This came out of a translator, Usually is is said: "Good day" (Dorbiy den). >really looks great, hope I'm not saying bad things, and that it shows up: > >õîðîøèé âðåìÿ ïîñëå ïîëóäíÿ, >Paul The next time you must ask your translator to translate back for me. I don't have Russian driver for reading this kind of script. After living for already 21 years in in Canada, I read very little in Rissian. But I read a lot. Have a good weather in Amsterdam, my friend! I think that in your country you are as eager for warm Spring as we are. Here we are crazy about sunshine. Now I still can see from my balcony snow on other side of the street. Privet iz Kanady! Leonid.
