If it is the case, it will backfire on him. I don't worry much about this.

The demand to have the program 3 months before the real match is for example
EXTREMELY stupid. I don't believe that this demand comes from Kramnik himself.

It is stupid because:

1) everybody thinks that you are going to cheat by preparing cooked lines
against the program. Consequently, people know that you cheat and expect you to
win easily.

2) it fails because the programmer is not stupid enough to let you do this.

Bottom line: you look DOUBLY stupid.

It's so stupid that I believe that the interest of the organizers is to remove
this condition as soon as possible, IMO.

Don't get me wrong. I feel sympathy for all chess programmers, and in particular
for Ed, Stefan, Frans, Amir, Richard...

We are doing the same job, and we have the same problems. That gives me some
sense of what they feel.

But my job is to defend the name of my program.

I do not believe I'm going too far.

Even when I challenge the legitimacy of the ICCA World Champion I feel that I am
extremely consistent with myself. I have always complained about the reliability
of short matches, it's not new.

Go back to the archives, dig out my posts since 4 years and you will see for
yourself.

The only thing that will guarantee that things are fair is that every chess
programmer has to fight for his rights.

Fairness will not come from outside. If you do not fight for yourself, who will?

First thing to do I think is to let everybody test your program and not try to
prevent people from publishing the results.

BTW, what do you think I have done wrong? You seem to imply that I am NOT giving
a good example, so what I am doing wrong specifically?

I will certainly not be a puppet.
