This simply shows how silly the match qualification is.  Playing a match on a
dual has very little to do with how the same program will do on an 8-way box.
Sloppy algorithms usually do pretty well on a dual, but as the number of
processors goes up, the performance gain drops quickly.

I _really_ see no reason to have a qualifier if they are not going to use the
same hardware as that used in the real match.  Otherwise, they should simply
take the last WCCC which had a variety of hardware platforms and use that
result.

The reasoning here (or lack thereof) boggles the mind...
