No. By the same logic if I play against human opponents with better memory than me or opponents who learned more than me about chess they have an unfair advantage. Being better is not unfair advantage. Asking something that nobody asks before the match like getting the opponent is asking to get an unfair advantage. > >Will playing the 'match' version of DJ give Kramnik a huge advantage over having >to settle for 1000 games vs. the Commercial version? I don't think so. I think that it is a huge advantage because the commercial version is clearly different and have a clearly different evaluation function. Kramnik may get 90% or 100% instead of getting 50% or 60% only because of this fact. <snipped> > I >think it is inappropriate to cast aspersions on Kramnik's character (i.e. >calling him a 'cheater') I did not call him a cheater but I think that asking to get the program is an unfair thing to do.
