It is NOT speculative. They made experiments. They splitted the brains
of epileptical people and did tests with them. They were able to observe
EACH alone without the other halve kept informed about what happened to
the person.
This is NOT speculative. Why do you believe it is?
The brain has 2 halves. Nothing speculative about this.
YOu have 2 hands. 2 eyes and the brain 2 halves. These 2 halves have
different ways of working and have specialized. No speculation...

Thesis is that woman don't need chess nor computer.
In many not working relationships the man goes into his special room,
the wife is not allowed to disturb him there, he does Internet and chats
with all the world. He does not anymore talk with his wife.
The PC is one more tool of males to ritualize their NOT TALK WITH YOUR
WIFE game. We could mention other tools like this: car, other hobby -
stuff. A pub.
Males need these special areas where women cannot follow them. They need
it.
It is deep in their genes. IN the past, in the history of males, they
were not needed. The females made the food, they cared about the
children, meanwhile the males had nothing to do. IN this early part the
males began to ritualize things. Hunting, cars, smoking-drugs, ---

Of course in our times sometimes women invade this areas. But rarely.
And the stamping of those girls in their childhood was different than
that of other girls.

My idea is that society (culture) and childhood=parents stamps people.
Also we have genes. But all this makes a person.
Also the brain (=physical preference) stamps people.

There is much written about these topics.
It is very interesting IMO why girls do not like chess / computerchess.
The first thing with exceptions in our days, but the second thing is
mainly a domain of males. It has something to do with the technical
thing of computerchess. And with the fact that girls handle losses
different than boys.
Girls have learnt their whole life how to handle losses. This is a
male-society and they will often lose. Boys have more problems to handle
losses.
