Right. The problem are not FACTS and DATA or EVIDENCE .
The problem is always:

what do the people think about those "FACTS" or "DATA".

The interpretation is the problem. And this happens in the minds !!

So - if you get a number out of the chess-set, what does the number
stand for ? IMO it does NOT show the strength. Like the IQ does not show
intelligence.

I agree with you.
I still believe Michael Reiter did a good job in his positional
test-suite.

Maybe we should ask him to do some more tests....
