I guess there're some drawbacks within Shredder 5's analysis features from a correspondence chess player's standpoint. Although it uses triple brain analysis, there's hardly any difference 1 or 3 chess engines analyse the position simultaneously, if they can't go deep down, positionally. What lacks, in my view, is interactive analysis option like Fritz 6 or Hiarcs 7.32 have. In this regard, the latter provide more useful tools to a correspondence chess player than Shredder, although Schredder ranks higher in all latest computer chess rating lists. Any objections?
