I have seen this. I remember, that I sent a log-file to ChessBase, that shows, that the GUI can make different moves, than the engine sends. Also, the only idea I had, that the move really must have come from a previous PV, and not from the move. I cannot remember the exact circumstances. For my engine, this behaviour seems to be gone. To your other message: The hard really seems to be a new feature. When I studied the communication with the WB-adapter, I never got "hard" alone (without the CB specific ponder mode) - only hard followed by easy. Regards, Dieter
