I posted a complete benchmark of gcc2.7.2.3/gcc2.95.3/gcc3/msvc6 to for my chessprogram to the gcc-list a week or two ago. I don't think anyone payed much attention to it because they were all going nuts trying to fix critical bugs before the set release date. -- GCP
