Sheesh, you guys! :) A player is a GM if he/she has fulfilled all the criteria
needed for a GM. That's how a GM is _defined_. So the question whether GM XYZ is
a GM or not is silly. He/she is so _by definition_. Also, a program currently
can't be a GM because there's no way to fulfill the needed criteria. (comps not
allowed in such tournaments)

Now whether GM (or not GM) XYZ plays "GM-level-chess" is something different and
 depends on how you guys define "GM-level-chess". :) If you don't define this as
_being a GM_, there either will be GM's who don't play "GM-level-chess" or
non-GM's who do play "GM-level-chess" or both.

It's really that simple. :) Once people agree on a definition of the terms
involved, the discussion will prolly be over soon. If you guys don't have a
common definition of the terms, you'll still fight in 10 years. :)
