So you're saying it's not acceptable to cook an opening book for specific
opponents? (I'm turning your argument around here)

It's 'questionable' because it's harder for you to beat it due to the cooked
book?

A real life problem: I see that a certain player is a real Sjeng-killer
for his rating. He keeps beating it, getting the rating down. Sjeng then
wins back the points from other players. Cycle keeps repeating, guys
ratings goes way up.

Is it acceptable for me to noplay this guy to stop this anomaly?

If I do it, I'm 100% sure to get a harsh email on what a sucker I
am because I noplay the people who can beat my program.

What does that have to with it? By selecting partners I can influence
it's rating just as I can do with timecontrols.

Don't tell me you're also one of those players who care for their
dick-size-numer!
