The discussions so far have revolved around pseudo facts and personal opinions,
which is why they have no resolution and pointless to the extreme. No common
conditions for the discussion has been found so far as far as I can tell. At
some point a computer program will prove to be superior under almost any
thinkable restrictions. We're not there yet. But we may be close depending on a
couple of parameters. Mostly on the human end IMHO. When it happens it'll be
just as interesting as a boiled egg.

I also get the impression that some use this subject as an attempt to get back
at one particular supporter of the "Computer program are not of GM strength yet"
opinion. And clearly a few people like the attention they get when starting
several threads with the same subject without supplying anything resembling
objective data or insightful thoughts.
