First of all, I would like to say that Mr. Burcham, who are you and what's your
motivation behind this post? Obviously you are continuing an inflammed attack
of my right to post chess related posts to this forum. So before I even
entertain the specifics of your hype filled challenge. I must say that I can
ponder several reasons why you raise your challenge and what gains you are
seeking and believe me sir your efforts of deception are not going unchecked.

Your out of context, not factual, and too vague concerning my previous comments.
Anything goes?? Let's stick to the facts. I was very particular in my
comments as to what program I'm using, hardware...etc. I specifically claimed
that I had the fastest SINGLE processor in ICC. That's a fact sir based on
displayed finger notes of all computer accounts. Although I would put my money
on Tiger and a 1.6g(T-bird) against a SMP setup running Fritz, ...or whatever...
any day:).

Mr Burcham, I lost all respect for your post and to you as a serious chess
enthusiast when I read these isane ,absolutely unreasonable, conditions for a
formal ten game match. The idea is unique and entertaining but you need to
inject a little common sense with thinking next time.

So there we have it!!! The motivation behind the post. Are you Mr. Morelands
saviour? Can he not intellectually defend himself in a Post without a patzer
chess groupy coming to his aid? I'm way too smart for your silly games Mr.
Burchman, your attempt to save face does not cloud the simple fact, that is
obviously painfully clear to you and others, I AM, at this moment, number one
at ICC. Not saying I'll be there forever, but I am for now, Sorry.

Now, if I were to entertain a match with you it would have to take place under
more sain conditions such as:

1. Enter into a temporary agreement with ICC to purchase a $100 dollars worth
of chekels and upon the conclusion of the match, ICC would pay the winner
directly. I'm sorry Sir, you may be able to trust Mr. Moreland with you money
but i'm not insane enough to send my money to a perfect stranger no matter how
much chess notoriety he has. Once your recieve payment, do with it whatever you
please, charities...etc.

2. Each player must give hardware/software setup for verification. Provide a
Windows capture of your current processor configuration. There are several
freeware programs to accomplish this on the net. Post the results to CCC.
Program really doesn't matter because you simply can't produce a program that
can dominate the Tigers in a match. Now with this, there would be opportunity
for you to cheat and I would welcome it. 100 chekels would be worth you living
with that fact. Point is, there is no sure way to verify hardware, which is
very important in comp/comp matches. So your word, which appears to be suspect
based on your mysterious comments on your setup, is all we have to go on. But
in the spirit of competion Mr. Burcham, I'll give your the benefit of the doubt.

3. The terms of the match will not vary from standard rules and regulations.
I'll agree on 2 seperate time controls as long as we play and ever amount of
games.

Now, sir I think this is FAIR and I don't see any reasonable person that knows
anything about computer/computer chess play would disagree. I'll suggest even
better, let CCC vote on the terms of the match. Yours or mine and we'll see,
once we weed through the obvious biased bunch, where the balanced minded chess
enthusiats are.

So there, the response to your challenge Mr. Burcham is that what you were(in
the words of Mr. Moreland)TROLLING for?

This has been a truly fun and enlightening experience, engaging in meaningless
immature conversation with the elite group of chess computer scientist.

Cheers!
