I assume you wanted to speed up Tiger's search, if such an situation appears
somewhere at higher depths in the tree. But what, if you imagine that Tiger
reaches the winning side of these examples (I saw three of them in the last 2
days). That looks ugly.

These are just "simple" positions (like they could be used i.e. in beginners
books to learn basic tactical elements, or during the analysis of a real game),
not sophisticated studies or problems...

What about a *patch*, to cure serious problems of version 14.0, i.e. make 14.1?

People are going to ask for a patch. I want to explain: Now, that you have made
this excellent, successfull program which can win GM tournaments, the demand for
perfection will be even louder than before.
