There's something in the current Winboard that lets you specify maximum number
of games, but it's pretty harsh and would zap GM's as well as the weaker
players.

You can do "rating >= myrating - 700" and still get one point per game, so you
don't end up playing at 32/0 odds.

I predict that Scrappy's rating will drop but you'll get a lot more games,
including more that you could learn a lesson from.

As we speak, Scrappy has been idle for 9 hours. which is 3 p.m. to midnight EDT.
 You'd think you could get a few games during those hours.

If you drop so much you get no GM activity you can put it back.  It's not like
they are going to forget about you.
