I think the inference is that I am a troll, unless your making a >General Analogy. Not that I care what you think, I just want you to clarify. It's a general analogy. I think that there are two kinds of trolling, intentional and unintentional. For instance, Komputer Korner [Alan T.] (and other such as myself) will occasionally employ a bit of wild hyperbole. Sometimes, it is intentionally planned to get a big reaction. Sometimes, it is just emotions on the loose. I think that you have strong feelings about certain subjects. When you post on those subjects you come across very controversially. Haven't you noticed that after one of your posts, it is not uncommon for three or four people to jump down your throat? That's because they think you are just digging for a reaction. In truth, nobody here is a mind reader. So people are only guessing. You could improve the situation a great deal by changing the tone of your messages a bit. On the other hand, I think that there are people here who do what is clearly intentional trolling. CW (in his myriad forms) is one example. Sean is another. In the case of some trollers, the intent is to cause hurt and injury. In the case of others it is to get attention. In the case of yet another class, it is only to try to stir up interest. In any case, trolling often gets lumped into a giant bucket. But (as I said) there are many forms of the art/science of trolling. Peter Seebach used to make some of the most hilarious trolls you ever saw over on news:comp.lang.c a few years back. I would literally howl with laughter when I read them. There are also sick and perverted trollers and trollers in need of psychiatric help. I prefer to think that people have honest intentions until they show me beyond any reasonable shadow of a doubt that their intentions are malicious.
