A co-worker has it. He is part of the M$ beta testing, so he might have gotten
it earlier than other people. The performance improvement is mostly in how the
windows (GUI) feel, but in fact the core OS is not faster. At least not faster
for any tests that he has been putting it through. The scheduler has the same
properties as the one in W2K ? some of the drivers make it go to blue-screen ?
for the most part it is a ?normal? windows update with a strong feel of Mac (if
you use the new interface).
Perhaps the final release will be more tweaked.

cheers.
