This is utter nonsense. For each version of DIEP-windows GUI itself
i would need to sell 50 winboard versions to earn the same, and still
god knows who is going to pay me, as you can so easily copy winboard
versions, everyone can email them around without effort.

Of course you can also copy entire cdroms, but the step to do that is
much bigger as just copying a few files.

Apart from that, perhaps equally important; i am busy making my
GUI like this that i won't get
much questions on how to install it, whereas with winboard you need
hours of writing, and answerring how to get winboard to work!

Not to mention parallel versions. explaining how to get a parallel
version to work, and that there is difference between win2000 and win98
(parallel version only works under win2000 as it is using the
virtual adress space), that's something some people will never learn.

What you do in your homepage is very good, giving information and such.
I pretty much admire that, because i know what a fulltime job that can be!

One of the reasons i didn't spread many beta versions of my GUI yet is
because i know how many questions that would raise. Apart from that it would
already get tested and judged before it's released.

I find 1500 downloads pretty small considering the big number of
persons that's visiting your homepage. Your homepage definitely
is a big success and i can only hope you keep continuing the good job,
because CCC took much of the remaining popularity of computerchess away
from the partly interested fans. No one can find CCC, they all could read
rgcc though!

>Shit is, if 0 person make a download !!

Well with hundreds of thousands of hits onto your homepage i bet this
is not going to happen :)
