Vincent, Jaap will sell you the whole pile of back issues, and you can spend like a week reading everything. Most of the issues contain little of interest, but every once in a while there is a very good article, like that Donninger article. That article was a reasonable explanation of null move forward pruning, too, it's what got me to implement this in my program. Since you are in Holland, you won't end up buying them in Hong Kong and trying to carry the whole wad home with you on an airplane, like I did. bruce
