They could also say:

Deep Junior wins
Quest 2nd
Shredder is the champion of the micro category.

shredder is a chessbase program so I do not see what they earn from claiming
that shredder is 3rd.

It is not relevant because the meaning of first second and third is clear if the
category is not mentioned.

Not because of kn per move but because of the speed of the computer and it is
logical also to say that there was only one class.
It depends on the way you look at it.
There was only one tournament and not 2 seperate tournaments.

This was practically an open tournament in regards to the pc.
more than one title does not mean more than one tournwment.
