Junior does not skip from depth 7 to 11 because 11-7>3 Junior's depth is the number of half plies and not the number of plies and going always from depth x to x+1 can make Junior too slow. depth x also does not mean x/2 plies of normal programs because Junior does a lot of extensions and usually depth 18 of Junior may be similiar to depth 14 or 15 of other programs.
