Kramnik is allowed to prepare for the next game.
Fritz is almost not allowed to do it.

Fritz's programmers have no right to change their program until the match and
during the match.

Fritz's programmers also have no right to add more than 10 plies to the book
between games.

Kramnik also knows the exact book of Deep Fritz and the Deep Fritz team is
practically only allowed to change the weightes of the moves in the book except
10 plies that they can add between games.
