Last time I looked, the StarSocrates/Cilkchess guy's weren't doing all that great vs. the top commercials, and I'd think more or less the same would apply to crafty even if it were running on a 20Mnps Alpha. Speed is nice, but isn't everything. It's certainly not enough to ensure winning nowadays. -- GCP
