Please don't make up numbers.  There is no 1024 bit wide bus on the P4.  Just
look at the MB.  That bus would take 1/2 the surface area.

That is correct... and it is 4x wider than the intel bus at present or past.

Note that it isn't.  There is no way to clock that in to the processor.  Just
take it out, and count the pins or edge connectors (depending on which you
have).  When you find 512, plus another 200 for the normal address and control
signals, you can talk about a 512 bit wide bus.  No intel chip has such a
thing...
