As to WChess it is rather clear [experience at Wiesenecker's tournament and own tests] that this oldie has even on fast hardware no chance against the new top programs. And the same thing can be said to most of the older programs. The only exception could probably be MChess. Chess programs older than 4-5 years are either tactically or positionally much weaker than the actual top programs. Regards Kurt
