We should take the top 5 of the SSDF-Rating-list from 1991 and run against the todays top 5. I suppose fisher chess to avoid influences of opening books which do not show real playing strength. Maybe we should play without tablebases even if it is a real software improvement. If we see that the software improvement is very small then nobody should buy any new version but every year a new computer. OJe
