The only way to accomplish this is to switch to "Player vs. Player" mode
after
Nimzo has moved and to switch back to "Nimzo vs. Player" before entering
the reply. This has to be done after every move, unfortunately.
You cannot disable PB permanently.

Also, be warned that Nimzo98 hogs about 50% of CPU time even when it's
just sitting around doing nothing.
To run it against Fritz, for example, on the same machine, you'd have to
give
Fritz twice as much reflection time to make it a fair contest.
(You can verify this by running the FritzMark with and without Nimzo98
running.)

For DOS programs, the influence might be smaller, I haven't tested that.
