Subject: Nalimov libraries - distribution available?

Author: Werner Mühlpfordt

Hi all,

two weeks before, my own chess program (C++ with heavy STL use,
object-oriented, bitboard-driven movegen, multithreaded Xboard
interface, only plain alphabeta yet) has played it's first games.
My decision of the next step to take is to include EGTB support,
and fortunately I have all the 5-man Nalimov files lying around.
One question remains: where should I get the tablebase access
library sources from? Is there a distribution, possibly with
documentation in it? Should I rip the source out of Crafty, and
is the code free at all?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help!

Werner
