I have a computer running games most of the time (Athlon 1.33) in order to
build a reliable rating list.
  Contitions:
  ----------
  Win2000 Server
  time control: 30 0
  hash tables ~ 300Mb (I got 1 gig RAM)
  3-4-5 man tablebases
  ponder off
new and old versions of programs mixed

I don't want to use an installation program because I use my own software to
run the games (my tournament manager calls winboard with the proper command
line) so the configuration details are stored in my database, and I do store
them manually.
