Is the starting positions of the pawns fixed ? E.g. for
[D]4k3/ppp5/8/8/8/8/5PPP/4K3 w - - 0 1
the number of possible positions with KPPPkppp is around 100 million while
[D] 4k3/5ppp/8/8/8/8/5PPP/4K3 w - - 0 1
is around 10 million. The number of positions with promoted pieces does become
_very_ large.
