Andreas's program rfen.c is much more sophisticated than
what I had in mind. As far as I can see, however,
it does not deal with the final part of edp lines,
such as the best move.
I therefore wrote a rather simple program, repd.cpp,
to convert epd files to their dual versions (with
White and Black interchanged.
You can download both repd.cpp and the win32 executable
repd.exe (combined in repd.zip) from my ftp site:

Since I wrote it mainly for myself, it may
contain flaws. In particular, I did not bother
about castling rights, so the program works
well only if the castling rights for White and
Black are the same.
