David. I am sorry this became hostile. I think in a few months, when you are able to look at the source for my chess program, you will see there are some significant advantages i am getting that would not be possible/easy in C++ that might make you look at other languages differently. Of course, i would like to see your source to pick up tricks and tips too. dave
