No, CB uses its own engine protocol with their .dlls that aren't supported by
CA. The Rebel-Tiger engine files are the same as those in CA, but since the
Tiger engine is included in CA, there's little point in getting Rebel-Tiger to
then include it in CA obviously. They are different products essentially. You
can test out the various interfaces (without Tiger) BTW:

- CA interface: Download CA Light at http://www.chessassistant.com I'd be sure
to get the Help file and look at the 'How to' chapters which take you through
the basics.

- CB interface: Download Fritz 6 demo at http:www.chessbase.com though from the
sound of it, you know it already. Mind you the CB version doesn't include the
Fritz 7 GUI so the online play would not be available.

- Rebel interface: Download Chess Partner at http://www.lokasoft.nl

All have their quirks and interesting aspects, and are at different prices. I'd
add that the Rebel package comes with the special Noomen opening book, the only
hand-tailored book of the three (in case this is an issue). Being Christmas
season, you should find interesting deals and offers by most resellers so I'd
shop around and consider this as well. Convekta (CA) has a pretty neat Christmas
package (CA + training program = CA + 2 training programs + DB update
subscription + book on tactics), but it all depends on what you're willing to
spend. Whatever your choice, you can't go wrong with Tiger.
