Certainly, endgame-force with a repeated piece offers an economy making their generation possible with 32-bit architecture machines. Such as KRBKBN seem to need 64-bit machines but these are now being done. Peter Karrer did KQQKQP two years ago by slicing up the endgame by Pawn position. Lars Rasmussen has specialised in computing EGTs with blocked Pawns but I don't know which ones he has done. "Secrets of Pawn Endings" used and cites his excellent work. Computation of general 6-man EGTs with Pawns, by the method of 'slices', is certainly in view for 2002, and by your stats, these will be more frequently used than the pawnless ones (which are however needed first). Lots of GHz needed however. Xmas and NY greetings to all, G
