At the moment it is an increasingly desperate search for the bug caused (or
revealed) by the change in repetition detection method and other changes to tidy
up the code.  I suppose I can always go back........

Progress since CCT3 has been limited, consisting mainly of trying new things
only to take them all out later.

King of Kings looks a strong program from my initial encounters with it on FICS
several months ago. Very good in the ending as I recall.....and improving.
