Exactly! And, actually, my copy of USCF's official rules says pretty much the
same thing. So, apparently, for between 17 and 32 players, they suggest six
rounds as a good minimum. Nothing at all is mentioned about an odd number of
rounds being preferable to an even number of rounds.
