Dear Fernando,

I did not say that I think your ideas are no good.
I did not say that I think you should not be posting.

What I am saying is this -

1. I agree with you that we do need new ideas, but new ideas are hard to get. As
you say yourself, sometimes programmers can get so stuck in the same ways of
thinking they can't see any alternative.  Thats why we need to see your ideas in
action - so get writing a chess program and show us your ideas!

2. However, when you do get to write your chess program, you will then see how
hard it is.  Its just to write chess program that is the equal of the good ones,
but its even harder to write a chess program that has new ideas & which also
plays well.  Do you think the programmers are not trying all the time to think
of new ideas?  They try all the time - constantly - that is why they are doing
it.

I say it again - we need new ideas!  So get writing your program!
