In this respect F6 & F7 >act the same on my computer. >Jim Space makes them both move but the analysis is not entered automatically with fritz 7 you CAN cut and paste the variation which is niffty if you want to do that , however Only with Fritz 6 it appears that when you press space the engine asks if you want 1 a new variation, or to insert a variation but fritz 7 does not it automatically assumes that you want a new variation and one without any depth/eval or time attached..... this sucks for people who do analysis especially computerchess community but hopefully this is some kind of bug because in the options you can set this but it didn't work last fix maybe this one?
