Ok, I think I misunderstood what you said. I thought you were having a single
mobility value for each piece based on which square it was on. For example, a
bishop on e1 on an empty board would have a mobility of 7, and I thought that's
what your array was keeping track of, which would be potential mobility, but I
think I understand what you are doing now.
