Is there any knowledge on the arrival of Deep Fritz 7 or is the following Web just a rumor? http://www.smh.com.au/icon/0108/01/news4.html There is no guarantee, however, that Deep Fritz 7, designed by computer and chess specialists, is indeed the strongest chess computer ever created. IBM, which spent millions of dollars on Deep Blue, has withdrawn its machine from the fray and some leading chess players consider Deep Fritz 7 to be inferior to the computer that defeated Kasparov four years ago.
