In the case of Shredder, if all they give is the total nodes that they visited, then devide their number by 9 hours or 32,400 seconds and that will give you the nodes per second. It must be remembered though that not all programs counts nodes the same way as there is no agreed upon standard, it is only used as a guide post for the programmers in question. If they make a change to their programs eval function, then they can see if there is a change in their nodal count. Bill
