Only part of the people who make the claim that DB is not stronger than the top programs of today. I did not say in 1997 that deeper blue is not much better than the top programs of that time but I believe that it is not better than the programs of today on the hardware of today. The improvement in software and hardware from 1997 is more than 200 elo. Fritz5 on 300 mhz was the level in 1997. Uri
