At one time I was looking this over, and I found a line to extend Ed's "longest line" at the bottom a little bit, but it still doesn't go to 60 full plies. However, there are several places where black can actually deviate, and get some of his pawns moving, where it can end up being white who must give the perpetual. It's very interesting, and I wish I had some saved analyses. Maybe if I have a little time I can try to work some lines out.
