Now THIS is surprising. Perhaps you only refer to CPU usage when you say
"computer resources" because I would be SHOCKED if Fritz used more RAM.

But, when there are no engines running (i.e. in a human vs human game, etc.),
the CM GUI takes only about 5% of the CPU. In a comp vs. comp game, with just
the Game Status (moves and clock) window up, the GUI takes about 7-8% of the
CPU. Activating the Thinking Lines window or the Coach starts to get a bit more
costly.
